I just intsalled the easy pull clutch on my bike, Now I cant get the o-ring to stay on the bike so I can install the derby cover, Is there a trick are do I have to buy a new one? Bike only has 200 miles.

Bike only has 200 miles. TechRep 21st February 2005, 02:26 If you wipe down the ring seat area real clean, and then wipe some vasoline on the "O" ring, it may stick in place for you. You kind of have to, I don't know, umm, twist the o-ring. rottenralph 21st February 2005, 02:28 Oring should be fine. Just clean off the slippery stuff and put it back on. It ought to stay there. It was pissing me off, I had cleaned it with soap and water and spent 5 min. trying to get it to stay before I asked. |
