View Full Version : bleeding front brake

I recently installed a custom handlebar I made out of some 04 Herritage bars. I had to replace the front brake line in order to reach. I seem to be having a bit of toruble getting the air out though. I'm not getting any more air out of the bleeder but I know there's more in there and the brake lever is still limp. I never drained the master cylinder as the instructions with the new line said to. I figured that step was just there so you didn't drip the master cylinder all over the front of the bike when you took the line off. I held it so that the fliud wouldn't run out when I swapped the line. Can't see that being a problem though. I feel like a dope here, have never had any brake trouble like this in the past and this has got to be the simplest looking set up I have ever touched. Any help?

God bless,
