I'm not sure what a fair price for a used set of 883 heads and cylinders go for, anyone have any idea. I've had a few people say they'd be interested in the one's I just pulled off my bike (doc replyed first), they just want to know how much I'd want for'em. I'm not looking to get rich, I want to sell them to someone on the message board for the same price I'd sell'em to a good buddy. I'll probably never use them again, and I can take the money I get from it and put it towards a new set of pipes :) . Thanks in advance.

General guideline, used parts go for between 50% and 75% of new price. 75% would have to be every much as good as a new part. If they are not good enough for 50% no one should want them.

For a good buddy, i would give it free under some circumstances - like if he really needed it and money was a serious issue. Otherwise i would go for the 25% to 50% range.

For a friend in need I'd give'em away too. I wouldnt just give them away to anyone though :p . I'm still not any closer to the price though. Anyone know what a new set goes for :)

90-04 883 heads go for 281 each w/ valves new.
