Hi,

just removed my oilpump and for assembling, I was wondering how the seals are used.

Between crankcase and oilpump body there is a seal. But between the lower cover and the oil pump case there is just some green little stuff and now seal.

What do you use to seal this part of the oil pump?

Thanks

J.Le

There is a pump mounting gasket 26495-75 between the pump and the case. There is an o-ring 26434-76A for the cover.

You can get a Genuine James Oil Pump Gasket and Seal Kit JGI-77-XL. covers 1977 to 1990. Contains everything you need and then some.
