My review of the:
Windzone EK-1HD Tool Kit/ Essential Toolkit for Harley and American hybrids. (Fits most fork bags)

After carful consideration of making out of town trips on weekends on my sportster I felt it required to have a basic tool set to take along. I have several Craftman, Snap-On MAC and Matco tools, but really hate to see them get stolen off my bike. First thought was to build a kit with cheap emergency tools such as carried by Harbor Freight. After gathering a list of needed tools the total would run around $60-$75 Not too bad..... I them ran across WindZone Tool Kits. Originally I priced on thier website the EK-1HD Basic Tool Kit. MSRP and price ordered from their site was $69.99... After a little search on eBay I found a authorized dealer selling them for $49.99 Buy Now Price... Wow I felt that was a decent savings considering it came in a custome puoch and stated it would fit in most fork bags.

The Kit Contains the Following:
Contents of Windzone EK-1HD Tool Kit
3/8" Drive Ratchet
5/8" Spark plug socket
13/16" Spark plug socket
3/8-7/16" Open-ended wrench
1/2-9/16" Open ended wrench
5/8-3/4" Open ended wrench
10mm Combination wrench
Small slotted screwdriver
Small Phillips screwdriver
Slotted screwdriver
Phillips screwdriver
Locking pliers
7 pce. Torx set (T-10 -T-40)
Hex keys (9)
Tire pressure gauge
Spark plug gap gauge
Electrical wire
Flashlight
Mechanic's wire
Siphon hose
Electrical tape
Cable ties (5)
Spare turn / tailight bulb
Shop Towel

I ordered mine and it was here in 3 days. After inspecting the tools and kit in general I feel they are decent tool quaility for the price. The storage puoch fit perfect in my forkbag. I think for the price it is well worth the investment into dedicated emergency tools that would come in handy for anyone riding.

Very nice, http://www.beza.biz/windzone/ (here is a link) . I just picked up a kit from sears, was their cheapo companion brand but good enough to get me limping back home if need be.

After reading the review, I went to E-Bay, checked out the item and ordered one for my '05 XL1200 C. If anyone needs to research further, check out the prices for tool-kits in the '05 Harley catalog. These kits DO come with a lot more handy items and the tool kit roll seems like it's made much better. Hopefully I'll never have to use it anyhow.........

Edit: Gotz the tools in four business days.....Quality: A number 1. Well worth the money....lots of extras too, like electrical tape, siphon hose, and a neat little shop towell. Nice tool roll, and a case the tool roll goes into. I ended up paying $49.99 plus shipping and still believe it's a good value....

I just received my WindZone EE-1HD. I paid 32 + S&H. I really wasn’t expecting too much but I’m really impressed for an “emergency” tool kit. The quality seems pretty good and there are plenty of tools in it:

• 2 Spark Plug sockets
• 6 in 1 ratcheting screwdriver (six different tips)
• All HD hex (6), Torx (&), and end-wrench sizes (4)
• Locking Pliers (1)
• Air pressure gauge (1)
• Spark plug gapping tool (1)
• Electrical tape (1)
• Mechanic’s wire
• Nylon zip ties (5)

My 2 cents.

I purchased the Motion Pro American MP toolkit from Jireh, and am very happy with it. It is a very small package, but robust and well-made. I have VERY limited space (just a small fork-bag that needs to carry my glasses, etc.), so it needed to be compact. I looked at the Windzone and Cruztools folding sets, but really liked the solid feel of the MP. Besides that, it has a bottle opener! :clap

Thanks (to all) for the info - ordered mine today (EK-1HD). I was wondering about the toolkit thing and was going to post a question, then saw this thread. This site is very helpful - I'm really glad I stumbled upon it!

I purchased the Motion Pro American MP toolkit from Jireh, and am very happy with it. Me too. I added a 3/4 inch socket to adjust the headlight and had to add another hex wrench to take off my air cleaner cover. Everything still fits in the small case. One beef: I wish the belt strap was a velcro affair, rather than stitched, so I didn't need to take my belt off to put the tool kit on/off.
