Has anybody been to one of these races? I'll have the pleasure of going to the next to the last race on the weekend of the 11th and 12th. My question is, what is the program like? Saturday for quals and heat races, then Sunday for the main races? I'd like to ride up for one day then ride home (I can't afford a hotel at the moment).

Not familiar with this specific organization but generally heats and mains will be the same day. Out here in CA in the vintage classes everybody transfers to the main. They just have A, B and sometimes C Mains.

So, my advise, GO!

Hotel? wtf? Take a tent. Night time at race tracks is usually a lot of fun.
When I was doing the Harley drags, I would show up Friday night and leave Sunday night. Kinda like a camping weekend with some racing.
