I didn't notice it posted anywhere. On a 06 1200 custom. What gaskets will I need to order when doing a cam change???
Rather have everything ready, don't want to have to go buy things as I do the job.
Thanks a bunch :smoke

What about the 883 Custom as well? ('05) Are they the same gaskets?

I would say that you would need a cam cover gasket, and the gaskets (front and rear) that squish between the rocker boxes and the head. You can usually reuse the rubber gaskets on the rocker box if they are not damaged, but you can replace them if you feel the need. Those are the gaskets that I replaced when I removed my cam cover and I have no leaks so I assume it will work just fine in your case. :)

You need a rocker cover gasket set and a cam cover gasket, You might need a couple fuel line clamps if you are removing the fuel tank or carb. If you plan on disconnecting the cam cover vent line from the back, so you can set the cover down somewhere, you might want one of those clamps too. No more timing cover rivets. No cam seal on yours. I think that's about it.
The same stuff is needed to do a cam on any XL, but the part numbers are different.
