Nelson Ledges road race track used to have a 24 hour motorcycle endurance race. It's good to see a 12 hour race back on the schedule.
July 22, this Saturday is the date.
Wonder if Buell will be there?
I'll be there watching.
Nelson Ledges is East of Cleveland on State Route 305.

Don't think Erik and the boys have finished an hour yet let alone 12! :D But I'm pulling for 'em in their efforts. :tour
Just need to get some of them old KRTT's out of the sheds. ;)

I'll never smoke weed with Willy again. :roflblack :roflblack :roflblack
I kinda like the ol fart. :smoke :smoke :smoke
I do hope to hear some Sporty noise going around the Nelson track. The low rumbling bark of Dukati will surely be there.

24 hours of Nelson was fun- we camped there years ago during one race on the infield, but sleeping was pretty tough with the bikes going around all night
Thanks for the heads up Ted- are you riding out? We will look for you!
Sleep?? Yur kidding. :roflblack Night is for watching the headlights weaving through the "S" turn. :tour Cool sight in the fog that usually happens at Nelson. I think they thought night racing got too dangerous. Weird things crawl, hop, slither, onto the track at night. Frogs, turtles, possums, raccoons, deer, snakes, drunk/stoned :smoke spectators, etc. 12 hours during daylight is a bit more sane. :banarock And, yes, we will be riding out.

still suspicious about that willy nelson guy. are you sure he's not there?
Never saw Willy at Nelson. I did have a nice conversation there with Paul Newman once though. The guy is "real people".
