Hi!
I would like to know how many of you there are who rides an XLCR 1000.
Originally, there where six of them imported to sweden and I believe that there are still four that runs.

One of my favorites, I have owned a '77 and '78. With some work on the brakes and suspension they are quite fun to ride. One of the best looking bikes ever.
I'd love to have one,you won't find too many riding them these days.
They are getting to be a collectors item as only a few thousand were ever built in only a two year period.

are you forgetting the 9 they built in 79?
have an XLCR in pieces one of these days I'll find the time to reassemble it

are missing. Depending who you talk to, they were built and never released from the factory, or private parties immediately scooped them up. I've only seen a picture of one (they have the big ugly-ass plastic air cleaner just like all the '79 models did). I would imagine that if one surfaced, it would be worth some $$$.

its a collection of parts at the moment. slimline frame, 62 motor, laverda twin leading shoe front hub, triumph conical rear hub and a set of forks and a pair of borani alloy rims
