I was installing a set of hard saddle bags and had the turn signals off off the bike. I went to turn on the lights to take a look at something and one of the turn signal's wires were crossed and all of a sudden my headlight and all my turn signals went out. I don't know if it blew a fuse or what. I searched the bike all day and could never find a fuse box. I pulled out the HD "running lights/brake-light flasher" circuit and the blinkers will turn on when triggered, but will not flash, and the head light still doesn't work. I tried a couple different bulbs, and even checked it with a mulitmeter, and there's no power getting to the harness. I know there is a grey box mounted to the rear fender that when it is unplugged, none of the lights on the bike will work, but I don't know of a way to get it open to see if anything blew.
When I have the brake-light flasher circuit plugged in, the brake light won't work, but the blinkers will flash, but when the right one is on, the left still blinks a little and same for the other way. When a blinker is on, the brake light will light up when the brake is applied, but it blinks with the other lights (which is not normal).
No matter anything I have done, the head light still doesn't work. Harley doesn't open until Tuesday, and if I can find a fuse or something to replace without having to pay a fortune for them to fix it, I'd appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.
