Access to the Private Off-Topic section is free but you must agree to keep what is said in there, in there and not let the content of these posts bleed over into the regular forums. Violators may be banned.

You can grant yourself access. You do not need to email me or anyone else.

How to access the Private Off-Topic section.

1. Go to you User CP.

2. On the left side you will see a list of options. Click on Group Memberships.

3. On the right frame you will now see the Private Off-Topic group. Click on Join Group.

4. If you ever want to leave this group then just come back to this section and click on Leave Group

Nope, it isn't listed there either. I wonder if it is because your are a "forum team member"? If so, it probably isn't correct for it to be advertised as "free", since you had to pay to be a member. Then again, it could be that somebody just needs to turn on this feature for Dooley and me?

The Private Off-Topic area is now open to all. Just remember the rules of keeping what is said in this area inside this area. Do not let it bleed into the regular area.

yep, that's what he was talking about...this thread was started back in November of last year when the 3 off topic areas were a seperate "group"...if you can get in to those then that's what this post was about...in addition there is an XL Team Members sub-forum that you have to be a team member to access...make sense? I'm not sure if I'm explaining it well enough :o

to make this clearer...don't bother with the first post in this thread...instead all you'll need is what Bert said: "The Private Off-Topic area is now open to all. Just remember the rules of keeping what is said in this area inside this area. Do not let it bleed into the regular area." :D
