A friend of a friend has a fuel leak on his Buell. I don't know which model or any more than that. My friend says "So when the fuel is turned on gas flows right through the carb into the bowl and out an overflow hose. I mean, the gas DUMPS out."

Any ideas?

He says he thinks its a 2002 M2 Lightning. One one of first years.

I just talked with him on the other side of the continent via the wonder of cell phones and he says he'll log on :D. He rides a Dyna but it's another friend's Buell with the problem.

Pro'lly a stuck float. Try tapping float bowl with a screwdriver a few times.

If that doesn't stop it you'll have to drop the bowl. It could be debris in the seat of the float valve so while bowl is off shoot some carb cleaner up into the valve.
