Whats the best way to re-install the chrome fork boot Covers?

You know... I just did this about 2 months ago and can't remember what I used. I would suggest using a rubber mallet... I don't have one of these, so I would guess I probably had a few beers thinking about it then used a block of wood, thick rags, and hammer. I might have to start omitting the beer part ever now and again…… naaaaa.
I would wait for a few more suggestions before you listen to me and start beating on them..

I remember now... I used the same piece of PVC tubing that I used to drive home the fork seals.. raping the chrome covers with a rag first.
