Hey, (hope I post it in the right place)


Unfortunately the previous owner didn't gave me the users manual, so I have many doubts about the proper maintenance of my Sporty (2002 883cc Custom)

I was wondering if anyone has a scanned copy he could provide me. Doesn't even have to be the original HD users manual, but just anything to make for a comprehensive, cohesive source of maintenance instructions.

Would appreciate any help!

The Owners manual is pretty close to useless, especially for maintenance. What you want is the factory service manual (about $60 or so). It will pay for itself many times over. The local H-D dealer should be able to order it for you.

Buy the Harley Service Manual, the Harley Parts Catalog for your scoot is very helpful. It gives you exploded views of all the different assemblies on you scoot. My 2¢.

Agreed - the parts catalog is also very useful!
