I am converting my 2000 Buell Blast from belt drive to chain drive.

I would prefer not to purchase the Buell Pulley Locking Tool, but cannot figure out how to effectively hold the pulley in place while anscrewing the nut.

Anybody know how I can do this without the special tool?

if you are talking about the front sprocket, you can put it in gear then try an impact if you have one?

I don't have an impact wrench but it looks like it's time to buy one.

Thanks for your help!
