I am looking for a fuel tank decal for my 1980. I want it to be red, to preferably be from that era [mid 70s to mid 80s], to contain the script word "sportster" and possibly the words "Harley Davidson". $$$s is an issue too! If i can't get all of this, well, i'll take what i can get.

I have checked out J&P Cycles, eBay and H&M Harley Davidson. I have found something pretty good, but i am looking for other places to look before i finally buy.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What about decals straight from the MoCo? There has to be a way of obtaining them for repairs and such. Was just thinking that red "Sportster" on the XL883 might strike your fancy.

In the v-twin catolg, The red script sportster decal is part no. 48-0465.
That is just the script sportster no HD. (approx size 13 X 3)

There is an orange script sportster with harley davidson under it...part no.
48-0463 (approx size 10 X 2)

As previously mentioned the V-twin catolog has quite a few different logos.
