winter projects completed-after 3 attempts , finally snagged some 1200s shocks ,iron city highway pegs, painted to match air cleaner, oil cover and battery cover, tank and fender graphics from cycle graphics and I used my pep boys cycle jack. Thanks to all for the info on most of this. Rode 2 days ago and smile is still frozen on my face.

Looking really good berter. I can tell that you're definitely not a shorty by the way you setup the highway pegs. I had to put mine on the closest setting to the rider just to reach them. lol.

What are those rear shocks you have on there? What is the second cylander for? I've seen them somewhere else but do not understand what are why they are for. Air shocks?

Those are gas charged shocks that came on 1200 sports until 2003. Made by showa-got mine on ebay for $280.They have 3 different adjustment systems. Only ridden on them for 20 miles but the difference is very noticable.

Hi.

Very nice job, even if you beat me out for the shocks.
Well, at least they went to a good cause, but I think they woulda looked better on my 03 custom.
