Well guys and gals, I am going to handtool and die a seat for my beloved sporty and I was going to buy the seat pan kit they sell that you see on the chopper building shows. Well, I was looking at my old corbin gunfighter seat and realized that it fits perfectly into my stretched tank so I am gonna drill out the rivets, cut the pan and make it a solo and then put the new cover on it. I hate to hack up a perfectly used seat but it seems to be the only one that is shaped properly for the stretched tanks. Does anyone know where I can get the really large rivets that are used for attaching the covers to those seats. I am going to use the rear leftover piece of seat pan to make the matching pillion pad. I can't wait to get the leather and get going on this. I think this will be a couple of monther because I still have to finnish my wiring.
