Hello I am looking at setback controls from Crossroads Performance and Storz Performance. I am torn between the two I like the idea of the storz controls switching the shiftpattern from 1 down 3 up to 1 up and 3 down (its and 86 so laugh all you want). I like Crossroads mounting brackets better. The storz uses a billet mount on the back three primary cover bolts while the crossroads uses a solid billet bar that attaches to the two exhaust mount bolts. Please lemme know what everyone thinks or know of another company that sells setbacks.

I like the standard pattern myself. Keeps my foot from getting confused.
Banke makes rearsets. And there's a guy on the Yahoo Sportster Owners Club that will make you a set to your specs.

Hey, Jason's Sporty, I don't know where you're from, but I think you're referring to what we call 'rear-sets'.

Jason's Sporty - don't know what year bike you've got - but I've been e-mailing this guy today & he can only do earlier bikes, since that's what he has.
I've been thinking about rears for my bike - I don't think (correct me if I'm wrong) that the traditional engine mounted controls are the way to go. I think they'd vibrate too much & defeat the purpose of the rubber-mounted engine to begin with. I think I might just get a shift linkage for the left side & figure out some sort of linkage for the rear brake & use the passenger pegs. Might be a couple hundred, but far less than the $700 for anything else on the market, plus, it should work with the stock exhaust.

I think Crim might have been talking about chainsikle, he makes quality rearsets at a fair price. I think the address is
http://home.comcast.net/~chainsikle/wsb/html/view.cgi-catalog.html-.html or it might be easier to just do a search chainsikle rearsets

Hey Thanks for the link shoei. By the way nice Buellster. change it to custom mixed pearl white with a stretched tank and 1200 sport shocks and front end and that is what my bike is.

I forgot about Chainsickle. I was thinking of Neon Don Thigpen of the Southern Sportster group out of NC and there abouts.
