Decided to hit the 1/8 after getting rid of my mother inlaw thats been here for 2 weeks.....thank god :banana

No time to get my suzuki dragbike ready. You know the deal, total loss system, air shifter, bars, delay box, etc loaded back in my truck with all the tools. So I just hop on the Sporty and hit the road :tour

Only got for runs in before I was sent home due to a red light and boy was I pissed about that :cry1 Got the slow'est bike there and boy was I on my game. All 60fts where 1.92, dial in's were 8.40 and I was nailing 8.41's. Timslips where showing the same mph, et's, 60ft's, rt's and 330's. The only way I was going to get beat was me and that's when murphy showed up :doh

Anyhow not to bad for someone that's been over to the darkside leaving off the top amber all the time then doing it old school with the hand clutch leaving off the bottom amber. I think a staging disk on the front wheel should help cause a 21 inch wheel doesn't leave much room for the staging beams.

This Harley will get and IHRA event sticker soon :D

wow....in the zone....those days are good days. I had a 6.51 and 6.54 qualifying runs in an 1/8th mile 6.50 bracket class....didnt take the third run...just sat back and relaxed. Good for you. I dont red light...cause my rt arent that great and also I have learned to let them try to beat me rather than hand them the round. As tight as you were running you could have afforded a tenth at the line....too bad bud.

I like to have RT's at or below .050, that doesn't leave much room for error's but it is fun when you get to lay down a few good runs back to back.

The only way they where going to beat me was if I red lite or was napping on the line. Next time I'll try that napping thingy.
