I read Turbota's how-to, did some thinking, and came up with a new use for the clutch cable clamp. Local plumbing supply had the brass t-fittings, compression fittings, and the 45 degree fitting for the t-to-compression fitting on the pressure switch end. Used teflon tape on all threads.
I used copper tubing and 1/8 npt compression fittings; covered it with plastic wire loom and "terminated" the ends with 1/2" heat shrink tubing. 0-30 psi, liquid filled gauge, 7/8L bushing to allow the front bolt of rear cylinder rocker cover to hold it in place. Had to use 4 wraps of electrician's tape to "shim" the gauge to fit the clamp.
What do you think?

It works real well, about 15 psi at 65 mph. I had seen turbota's how-to before the pics got lost. I'll take a few pics; check back later.

Left-side view showing the loom-covered line paralleling the frame. 3/8 thick foam tape protects the line as it passes through the coil bracket. I still need to clamp the line to the frame and will probably use adel clamps (such used to attach the clutch cable to the engine mount).

Thanks again, turbota, for the idea!!

The pic I posted of mine is also gone. I mounted it off the enrichner bracket. The hole for the plastic rear sparkplug guide is in a perfect spot. You can see it with moving your head. Warm, my rubber mount has about 22 psi at cruise, 30+ under throttle and 15 psi at idle. I used an Autometer gauge for motorcycles.$ 22.68 from zanottis and a Russel stainless hose for 03 sportsters. It has all the fittings for $35.

Oil pressure guage mounted on the enrichner bracket. I used an L shape piece bracket from an old carb support.

Nice work!
I also like the engine case in black; I'm getting my covers together for powdercoating over the winter. I wondered about the black case with chrome derby/inspection covers. That is a nice contrast!
