Will I be able to feel a difference in acceleration by going from a 29 tooth front pully to a 27? 02 1200C, taxes paid.

Hi.

Yes, you will feel a better off the line, but the trade off is less top end and more vibration, as the engine will be truning more RPM's to do the same speed.
So, I guess if you do mostly around town and twisty riding, then it's a good Idea. If you do more Freeway/ long distance then i would leave it be.

BTW, you have a very nice bike there indeed.

It's not a huge difference, but it is noticable. There are other sprocket/pulley sizes available if you search around.

As usual one should be looking at their goal. With the right combination of front/rear sprockets, almost anything is possible (within reason). Just keep in mind that the more you gain in acceleration, the more you lose at the top end and vice versa.

I considered fooling with sprocket sizes but decided not to. For all around performance, the 27 suits me fine.

Jeffytune, thanks for the compliment. Most of my riding is around town, and when I do cuise, I take the back roads, usualy around 70mph. I'm just looking for a little more giddy up stop light to stoplight, and I don't have much a desire to go much over 100mph anyway.
