Hi, been riding since 1981 various bike's mainly Jap. now ridin 2004 XL 883.
Living in Ireland , Mountains of Mourne , have 4 boys , 2 cats and 4 goldfish oh, and a wife of course,silly of me how could i forget her! (easly down).have joined you motley crew cause a bro has a problem with 2001 xl, new turn signals put on . Have a problem all bulbs working, when attached and wired up front right won't work other three work but only flash when on hazzard. the old ones we took of all worked had only live wire , new ones have live and earth. ANY IDEAS. as you can tell i ain't no !!!!!!!**N sparky.

On my bike the front turn signals have three wires coming out so that they stay on when riding and then flash when the turn signal is activated. They require a dual filament bulb. The back turn signals are NOT on when riding; only flash when the turn signal is activated (this is for US riding - maybe different for Ireland). The back signals require single filament bulbs. Hope this helps.
