check your switch. I thought it was the bulbs and it turned out to be the switch. Try contact cleaner in the switch housing and see if the problem goes away.

i did some work on my hand controls, and pinched the cables, which caused the fuse to blow.

think back on everything you did, see if you can't narrow it down to something.

same exact thing happened to mine, burnt headlight connector. the female ends spread and did not contact very well heated up and melted connector. new connector was about 14.00 at dealer. has extra wire for accessory lighting. apply some dielectric grease to plug before plugging in.

The FIRST thing you should check is "Do You Have Power" to the headlight connector.
Anytime you have an electrical problem, it's necessary to find out if the power is there.
Then you can determine which way to go.

Also, was the headlight a like-for-like replacement or was it a different style bulb?
Too much wattage can melt the connector.

if the high beam indicator is lit then chances are that there is power to the plug since the headlight and the indicator bulb are on the same circuit.

anytime you replace a headlight bulb, you should use some dielectric grease on it. it helps with the vibrations.
