Finally got them $%#* taxes paid

Yea, finally got the SE II's this weekend and now taxes are paided in full (did the Hiflo and jetting last fall). The only hassle was pulling the stock pipes off. One of the four bolts was practically welded on and I ended up taking a hack saw to it. Got four good bolts from the dealer to replace all of them, and then had to use hi temp black spray paint to address the black paint scrapped off the exhaust return (opps). But it runs and sounds absolutely awesome!

Congrats! I had a problem with one of the exhaust stud nuts being stuck. The entire stud came out, and then I couldn't get the nut off, tried everything I could think of, but I was afraid of stretching the stud. I just screwed the whold stud/nut back in for now until I get the 1200 conversion done.

One thing that works for me on almost everything, bikes, cars and trucks, and my antique tractor, is to spray every nut and bolt you wish to remove with WD-40 the day before you remove it. This really helped me get the stock mufflers off my Sportster when I instaled my CS slipons.
