Hello I just purchased a corbin gunfighter seat for "tara" my old but trusty 86. Just wondering what seats everyone else runs.

Annabelle has a gunfighter on her as well. I love it. Tried putting an H-D solo on her but it didn't last long.

Wow awsome diversity in looks and the comfort ratio. I am glad I put the corbin on. I used to have the factory figure 8 shaped touring seat that was uncomfortable as hell! I can tell already that this seat with the gel and top secret foam will be better on long trips. My orginal seat for the 86 looked like a bicycle seat. It was small, odly shaped and hard as stone.

I switch between the badlander and my stock solo seat, which I shaved down and reupholstered. The badlander gives great feel for short rides, but your ass will start to get sore after a while. I really love the feel of my stock seat now that I shaved it down.

Corbin Gunfighter for me too. When I first got it I was looking it over and was not sure it was the right choice. It just seemed that there was not much to it. One of my riding buddies is die hard Harley. Everything on his bike is either Harley or Screaming Eagle. He told me to order a badlander or I would regret it. After riding mine and his (badlander) I am glad I went with the Corbin. Between the looks and the comfort this seat is hard to beat for me anyway. :smoke

LePera Maverick LT with Gel. I think it's the finest looking 2 up "touring" seat. It's smooooth looking and riding, longer than the Mustang vintage touring on my old '03. It's a little lower and a little narrower for flat footing with the knees slightly bent on a '05 883XL and even more comfortable for my wife on the longer pillion than the Mustang. Downside is it's expensive.

I have the Saddleman "take charge seat" on order due in friday from Dennis Kirk. I am also thinking about getting a solo seat, Has anyone heard if the Ultima solo seats for the sporty are any good? I can get one dirt cheap under 100 bucks delivered. but i am not sure of the quality and comfort.

Hey Jason, you're right around the corner from me. Erie is my favorite shop, good folks. What didn't you like about the HD touring seat? It looks good and soft. Was it too high for you? Lot of guys here like them, especially for the price. I've been watching ebay for a deal on one but maybe I'll wait.

I have the stock solo which so far I do not mind. Haven't done any real long legs yet but nevertheless the seat hasn't bothered me. I also like the riding position it provides. Could be though that that is just because I am used to it so changing out feels different.

I also have the HD "Pillow-look Two Up" seat. It is very comfortable. Wife and I didn't go for a ride last night after I put it on but she did sit on the bike and said the it was very comfy. The rear pillion is quite wide and the entire seat is well padded.

I prefer the look of a solo so I bought a spare mounting peg. That way I can leave the solo on but can switch to my two-up with ease.

For yearsI had a seat I modified off of a 78 sporty then as I and my girlfreind got a little bigger I found a touring seat unknown brand assumed off a BT bent the steel frame of the seat to fit loved that seat. the foam in the back broke down and made it hard on my wife, so I put that on the repair list. this year I am tossed between a 70s cobra seat I found at a car swap meet, and a hand made leather seat I am just about finished.
