Hello! Just bought a 2006 XB12R and I'm looking for the best way to improve my footing. I'm thinking a lower seat would do the trick, but I can't seem to find anything out there for the firebolt... any suggestions? Thanks!

These fit 04-05 models. I don't know about 06. But this looks like what you are looking for. I'd call Corbin to see when 06 is available.
Quote form corbin:
"For you rider's that have problems with the seat height, we've built this model as low as possible considering the chassis geometry. Our platform height sits right at 31.5" which is the lowest possible seating without compromising comfort value."

it all depends on how comfortable you want to be. if you remove the seat and the cover on the seat you can cut down the padding and get alittle room out that way there is a good bit there to remove. it all depends if you want to take away padding. I will ba doing this soon when i do i will update it is the cheapest way i have found.

Thanks for the info! Let me know how your seat turns out... that sounds like something that would work...
