It was really foggy the night I took these pictures......you can kind of see it.....sorta. :p There's a big huge pine tree right there behind the hitching rack......but it's fogged out in the picture.

Trace.........those look great. The front one's look almost just like huge candy canes ( that was probably your intent ). Is that a cat face ? Seems like I should know it !

Alrighty.........lookin' forward to it. BTW, this thread was actually Brad's idea that he shared. Hey Debbra, Why not start a Show Us Your Christmas Lights thread since you were the first. (excluding those that keep 'em up all year long)
Here's mine.....

Yea no kidding uh......:roflblack:roflblack:roflblack I hate buying new bulbs....getting the right one's..................problem solved. Of course, if you did want to replace any of these you could go with all one color instead of the multi colored....that would look great too. :laugh:wonderlan

Every year he does a different theme, if I remember correctly he starts hanging them in september and his electric bill in December is more than it is Jan – March put together.

Here's my Plain Jane setup. Its not completely done though. Probably going to throw some snowmen, candy canes, etc. on the grass. The kids like that kind of stuff:

There's been some very nice Christmas lights pictures ( that's a tongue twister ) posted here. Although I don't have the candles in the windows I sure like them. And the wreaths are cool too.....I haven't quite learned the trick yet of getting them to stay up tho. The icicles are nice too hanging from the roof. This year I saw some digital lights in the store......maybe they were out last year too.....or maybe longer. But I over heard a conversation in the isle there and one gal was saying they were really nice.

That music video was pretty cool too. That must have taken a lot of work getting all that synchronized.

Cool pictures. Lots of Santa's and deer........woops...I counted yours twice Paulie. :doh I wonder if that one guy with the blob of lights hanging from his roof has a blinker in them.........:laugh

Last year we were so poor we couldn't afford a tree but this year we're blessed with
this beautiful Christmas tree.

That is so cute.

No kidding....Christmas trees cost soooooo much. I used to always get a permit and go cut one. One time ( years ago ) my bf shot the top off a Blue Spruce with his .44......a damn good shot. We had a nice tree that year......that was a long time ago.

Heck, they grow tons of them around here. Several thousand acres. A REALLY nice 10' tree might run $30

That's a great idea. I love your whole backyard.......all that green grass in December. Nice!

30 bucks.......that's not bad at all !! And the Blue Spruce makes a gorgeous Christmas tree.....much fuller than a Pine.......has the blue tint to it.....beautiful. But.... I usually get a Pine tree......you're lucky to have so many close buy.

I try and do something different every year. Here is this year's version:

http://img354.imageshack.us/img354/6513/dsc00033ut6.jpg (http://img354.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc00033ut6.jpg)

By the way, ALL the snow you see in this pic fell yesterday between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. I had to shovel three times. It was perfectly dry and brown before it started snowing.

This year's version looks great. We don't have any snow yet but soon I'll be out there shoveling it to I suspect.
