The rear light on my bike has fallen out of its place for the second time now. Is the suppose to be a tab at the top of the fender on the inside where the light goes that the bolt is suppose to go through? Any ideas of how to hold the light to the fender better? Any help is much appreciated.

on my 05, there is a screw that goes through the circuit board and the base assembly, through the fender, and a tab style bolt is on the inside of the fender.
if that bolt keeps falling off, i'd go get new screw and bolt. sounds like they're stripped.
*edit*
the tab style bolt is called a clip nut.
