Went out yesterday, put 130km on her. The pipes sound great. They are starting to turn gold.

Looking at this picture I can see some new foot pegs might be in order.

Best regards,

Brian

The pipes look AWESOME! Maybe the Chrome Fork Tube option might be a consideration as well as the pegs........ How do you like the Hyper Charger??

Hey 55 jr...how do ya like those stainlesscreations, and how do they perform ( I've already heard they're loud , I like that part)...and is the "gold" a natural quality of stainless at high heat like pipes get? ....bike's lookin great, by the way

Howdy folks.

Thanks for the kind words.

Regarding the pipes:

My first impression was they might be a little loud, but I thought the same thing with my old pipes (stock with no baffles). After riding around town this weekend, I think I can live with the volume. If I get a ticket, I'll start thinking about putting something in there to quiet things down.

The build quality is top notch, much better than the sock pipes.

I got a lot of looks and positive comments when I parked at the local hang out. A few were quite convinced that this open design would fry my valves. I had to explain the concept of stepped pipes and the pressure increase/velocity decrease inherent in this design.

One observation on discoloration. I only put 130-150km on the pipes, just around town and they are already starting to turn gold. Stainlesscreations.net sells these things with a bottle of polish. They claim that regular use will remove this tint.

The bottle that was shipped with my pipes was destroyed in shipping (yep...the sh*t was everywhere in that box).

I had no plans to use the stuff anyway, so this is not a big deal. I spend enough time trying to keep this bike clean without giving the pipes a major rubdown every week.

Just a word to any potential buyers, these things will change color.

The hypercharger? I've always liked the look and as a bonus it don't bump my leg like the stock cleaner did.

Best regards,

Brian

The spoiler was cheap.

56$ US for the plastic. I had to order the mounting kit for another 50$ Canadian.

The local dealer wants 400$ Canadian for the whole thing.

I'm with you, I like the look.

Best regards,

Brian

Brian -
Bike looks damn sweet! I tried the H-D brand O-Ring pegs on mine and didn't like them. Got them listed in the AD section.
