ape hangers 16 or 18????

I need some advice and pictures would also be great.
I dont know if I should go 18 or 16 on the rise.

I've got 16's (the angle of the shot isn't straight on, so it won't give a clean perspective). The questions we probably need to know are:

a) how tall are you?
b) What're the laws concerning high bars in your area?
c) And how tough are the LEO's on enforcing them?

Personally, I find my 16's are just fine for me (I'm 6'1). They sit right about shoulder height, which I find comfortable..

Someone posted in another thread about how he determined what size was good for him.
He used pvc pipe and put them together to the height he was comfortable with.
At the same time you can measure for cables and brake line.

Im 6'0 ft , and I dont think there is too much of a problem around here with enforcment.

I went with black because when I am done there will be NO chrome on it.

I have 12" bars with 6" stock risers. They fit me perfectly, and I am 5' 8".

think about riser height too, i have a 05 custom that came with that nasty pull back riser, now I have 18in apes with real basic drag 3 in risers. i think they perfect for me at 6foot. So much more flavor, people notice a bike with apes and thumbs up and sh*t like that. go big.
