Took a pic today of it, I'm redoing a lot of things so this is just a progress pic. So far have done tank lift, progressive dropped rear shocks (for sale, i want to get the 10" ones from Licks) whiskey handle bars, .44 mag risers, .44 mag grips, internal wiring. Next mod is a raked front end (mid glide). Still have got a long way to go before, or if it ever, gets finished.

If anyone is interested in the progressive shocks, let me know.

Hi Ml504,
Your bike looks great! Regarding the tank lift! What exactly did you do, and how did you do it?

I made 2 brackets (i'll take some pics and post them this week), they ended up lifting the front up 3 inches.

I'm working on a speedo mount that will mount to the side of the frame.

The tank lift is just the matter of fabricating 2 brackets and drilling holes 3 inches apart. Attached is another pic of the bars from a different angle.

Thanks for the positive replies....

Bar and risers look great! Nice job, uncluttered. Risers are 6 inch?

That's a really clean look on the front end. Did you just eliminate the turn signals altogether? Can we get a close-up of your brackets to raise the tank? That's a cool bike, you're giving me ideas..............

Yes, the front turn signals are completely elminated. I will get some better shots of the tank lift this weekend.

Thanks again for all the replies!

Nice looking ride.
I, too, would like to change the risers on my 04 1200C. Mechanic told me it was a LOT of bother, all the wires that are hidden away behind the riser cover have to be relocated?Think I will talk to someone else and see what they say.

I agree with Bullitt, looks a lot better with the metal strip removed from tank.Owned my bike for around 8 months and have only just got round to it, much cleaner look.
