I currently swapped to a set of mini bullets. All wired up fine and work well. I also have a side mount plate with a taillight. When the lights are on, only the headlight and taillight come on. When i push the turn signal buttons i need to keep pressing it in order for it to blink. My first question is why doesnt the flasher work now? My second question, is it possible to get the turn signals to light with the headlights? These are single filament bulbs so i dont know if its possible. If so, what do i need? This is on a 78 sportster.

I bought my '92 Hugger equipped with LED bullet lights. You either have the option of running lights (always on) or turn signals... not both.

When I went from running lights to turn signals, a special adapter box had to be added to give the LEDs the right voltages to flash correctly.

To me, it's still one of the real PITA problems with my Hugger. What I want are running lights (to be seen) AND turn signals. Everybody keeps telling me there is no way for that to happen. I'm to the point that I may just add a second set of running lights for the increased visibility to others on the road.

If anyone has a solution let us know... and by the way, dual-filament lamps won't work with the older systems. I already checked about that.

Thats it.
you have to install a load equilzer when using led lights because of low draw of the led's
