I can't say much I did something like that when I was 19 years old. I was stopped at a traffic light and decided to impresse some girls walking by. So when the light turned a did a hole shot, but I was sitting in a small puddle of oil. So I went down much like he did, funny thing was neither girl wanted a ride!

Did he put Armor All on his his tires?

I put it on my seat once a long time ago and was sliding all over the place.

Theres a type of coating on brand new tires that needs to be worn off or you can end up like him. Plus the dealership probably shined em up also. Between those 2 things and inexperience can lead 2 disaster. But I think he goosed it to much an over compensated to boot!

There's another one in this group called "Stupidest motorcycle crash ever" . (look at the set when this vid is over.) This guy rides a ducati right into a tree. Obviously had not idea how to turn a bike.

Makes me glad I rode bikes for years in the country before I braved open roads and highways. At work we had this guy get his first bike and while trying to keep up with the group he misjudged a corner at a stoplight and saw he was getting close to the curb and dumped the bike. All he had to do was lean the bike more and let of the throttle , instead he jumped off and let the bike drop. Couldnt help but laugh when he left work one other day. He was way to short and could only put one foot flat down. He could only touch the tips of his shoes to the ground while backing the bike up.

Ahem. I have a bit more sympathy with that last part. :o

Why would you have sympathy for him?

I stopped it and started it a few times to see "how come"
Ahhhh, it looks like he initially broke traction taking off, then freaked a bit when the bike turned side ways...and he puts his right foot down and almost pushes himself over by staying on the gas-...I think I dunno-
a GSXR for a 1st bike is like a learning to bat against Randy Johnson-

There were a couple other good crashes linked to the leather dude crash...usually when I see these crashes its the result of the rider not knowing how much power the bike actually has...or some guy who can barely tie his shoes and is in no physical shape what so ever...I think the strength and coordination that good stunt bikers have is sometimes forgotten...

Better to do it in the parking lot then to do it on the street with a big truck riding your back tire. That stinks no matter what you are riding.

What he said. Short legs do limit the choice of a bike. On footing a 300 lb dirtbike is one thing, a 600 lb crusier is another.

That guy could have easily negotiated that turn if he knew how to ride. He got scared at the last minute and stood on the brakes, which means the bike stood up and he went straight off the road.

This guy would be a dumbass no matter what kind of bike he was on.

And before any of you start in with the "it's his bike, he can wreck it if he wants to" shit, suppose he'd come off that thing on that pass when all the people were around. Instead of hitting a parked car, that 800 lb bike may very well have mowed down someone and killed them.

Another dipshit Harley rider.. :laugh :laugh :laugh

No way could that rider have made that turn..Have you ridden the Dragon's Tail??

Being cambered and up hill while riding a Harley model with the worst lean angles ever made..

Had he looked where he WANTED to go, not where you don't want to be (Target Fixation) he might've had a chance, but i'm not convinced being up-hill off cambered he could've pulled it off..even at that speed!!
