I have an '04 1200R, with the classic eyebrow-mount headlight. With the H-D quick-detach windshield, the headlight sits back behind the windshield about 2", causing a noticeable glare on the back of the windshield and reduced light output to the extreme left & right from the headlight.

Any ideas, without switching to the custom headlight? I like my eyebrow mount because I think it vibrates less. Is there a bezel or something available that would bring the lamp out about 2 inches?

You could use a visor on the headlight assembly?!?!?

I had the same problem.
Part # 69623-99A cured the problem.
It only extends about an inch farther than the stocker but it was enough.

I ordered the trim ring & tried to install it - It would do the job, except the only thing included is the chrome ring itself - it seems like I need some sort of spacer behind it to hold the headlight forward. Am I missing something here?

Nope the headlight dont move from the origional position.
Just the ring is longer.
