Hey guys, I need your "professional sporty" advice. I just got a new headlight and the ole man and I are unsure what color looks best. He is leaning towards the chrome (which has already been installed), but I think painting it a flat black would go well with the roadster package. I know its ultimately my decision and I don't want to !!!!! it up. If this was your bike which would you choose? :dunno

I think black would look best with how the rest of your bike is set up. Chrome for minor contrast only on your scoot. Gotta be black....

i agree, Drag speacialties, sells anice chrome inexpensive mount kit to attach them to the lower tree..

I think the chrome definitely looks better on yours. It's kind of an accent piece.

Housing was from Headwinds/tradewinds called the Viper. It was time for the 1k service, so we had them originally mount it. I didn't like how low the housing was sitting, so hubby and friend remounted it with a taller bracket.

I hadn't thought about orange...I'm trying to picture it. Sounds pretty cool though. I think it would add to an old school effect.

Another mod I hadn't thought about yet. I'm planning on changing out the handlebars when I scrape up some more money...might as well lower the front turn signals while we're at it.

I don't like the black ring after photoshopping it, but I do like the orange with a bit of a chrome ring left behind... It's hard to see the black with this background though...

Stick with the Crome. Gives your bike a nice balance of the three colors.

Wow Gazza, those pics really put another perspective on it. The solid black looks outta place with the chrome uppers. The orange with the black rim adds a nice flare to the bike. Thanks for the visuals!

I'd agree with skien, relocate the front signals and I think the chrome would fit right in much better. Just my $0.02 thou.

After Gazzo's pics. I'm starting to lean more towards chrome. I'm am realizing that I will always be broke. Just incase I didn't mention it early, I'm now an addict. Just a few more parts and i promise i'll quit. We don't need anymore food in the house, but those hot toppers...I think that is an necessity! Nothing better to cure a broken arm with, than new drag bars...and LED's for the brake and signals...and i've heard so much about those mustangs. :help1

Go with the black. There's too much chrome on your front end and you need to balance it out.

right click tools and turn off y our pop up blocker or turn off/ change setting on you r firewall

I have one in flat black and I am going to redo it with wrinkle black finish.

Leave the front 1" chrome and paint the rest black. That would be sick.
