Anyone know of a dual headlight set up the will fit on the Custom Sportster forks?

I wonder if this set up will fit the narrow forks.

Look here. Mikenico took a standard dual headlight similar to this only the lights are individual and connected together and used the mounts to put it on the fork legs. You can also mount you turn signals to the brackets. Have you considered a buell 8 inch light. Looks really cool on cjburr's bike. The dual I have now does not fit a narrow glide but dual 4.5 inch lights could easily be mounted with a piece of flat steel mounted to your stock lower mount. http://i9.ebayimg.com/01/i/08/85/fe/12_1.JPG

Here is a different type on ebay right now. Might look good for your application. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Streetfighter-Dual-motorcycle-headlight-universal-stunt_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ34284QQihZ010QQit emZ200034725758QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

Here was his end product. http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f273/mikenico/sportster.jpg

Here's something different for ya Bert. I have no idea what the lights are other than they appear to be halogen. Looks like he used trun signal reloaction clamps to munt them.

Those could be regular refector ion lights that I was originally looking for. The confederate hellcat has some similar lights. They could also be form some sort of ricer. I have seen them on ricers as well.

Probably a racing tachometer.

Ralph. The aution you posted was over by the time I got to it but the seller gave me the URL of where he got it in the first place.

Here it is: http://www.whaccessories.com/

Looks like they have quite a bit that could be modified for a Sportster.

Try this one. Here is another one. You get two types of lights. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Streetfighter-motorcycle-dual-headlight-kit_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ34284QQhashZitem170 036781422QQihZ007QQitemZ170036781422QQrdZ1

Bert if you have money to burn you could get some SJP dual billets. Come in polised or black from Russel Mitchel they're only about $700 a pair.

I almost went with dual headlights on my Sportster, and still might sometime. I was going to use two Bates style headlights from http://www.flyncycle.com. They have 4.5" and 5.75". I would have used the smaller 4.5" lights. My Triumph has 5.75" Bates style headlights stock, and I really like the look. The Bates lights give a classic look, and a streetfighter look at the same time. ;) And they are only $35 a piece.

Maybe the owner is nearsighted?

Maybe also uses one of these...

The best way to mount them would be similar to my Triumph. Have the headlights mounts turned inward facing each other, that way you could make a single bracket that bolts to the hole in the lower tree. They would appear to be floating, with no easily visible fugly brackets. :) http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j176/twolaneblacktop/100_2382.jpg

I'd like to see one of these Waverider dual lights mounted. Can't seem to find any pics, though.

Hmmmm....maybe a little ET-phone-homish. I did find one picture of it mounted, but it's much smaller than I thought it would be.

what about snaking a pair from a firebolt, (http://buell.com/common/07/firebolt/xb12r/featuresimage.jpg) another option but i don't know how that would look, Lightning (http://buell.com/common/07/lightning/xb12stt/colors/orange_front.jpg) ones may look better

Hey J, the reflector type lights get a bit expensive on ebay. The dual on the ulysses are a little less costly.

I've been thinking about getting a second headlight that matches my original light, having someone fab me a bracket, and wiring them in parallel. Anyone ever do this?
