You will have a job bigger than Ben Hur trying to fit a speedo drive to a late model wheel in narrow glide set up....

we did one a while ago and WILL NOT be doing another

is your wheel a mag or spokes??? .. if it's a mag you can get it drilled and tapped to take another disc...

I'm not sure on the fit of new master cyl to old switchblocks

Is there a different bolt pattern on the wheels

The bolt pattern is the same BUT the central spigot is larger....you can put a 2000 and later disc on an early one but not the other way around...

With the amount of questions you are asking I'd say stick with a pre 2000 wheel, there is lot of cute engineering involved in getting things like that to work...and as I said I WONT be doing another.

If you take your wheel with another disc to a machine shop they can drill and tap your wheel to suit the disc.....problem solved

One of the most stable HD's I've ridden is a customers twincam wide glide that has 2" overs and a 19" mag

it is rock steady as fast as I could take it and that's past 200kmh

all the 21" front wheeled ones I've ridden start gettin scary before that speed...

By trying to fit a late model master cylinder onto your switchblocks you wont have a frony brake light switch....

You may be able to make something up but ya starting to talk work....

Hey guys I am currently putting a 2000-up brakes on my 86. I have like $200 in it so far. I have put on a 2001 swingarm, caliper etc. and on the front the 2002 caliper with a $80 bracket from Storz. It all looks awsome. the only mods I have had to make was the 88 and up rear master cylinder and a dual disk front to push the extra 3 pistons the new caliper has. I have still not spent enough to buy one Gma or Performance machine caliper but its all factory stuff and the 2000 up brakes are exremely good stuff. :D
