View Full Version : ULYSSES......at last..
jack82 31st October 2006, 06:37 Well I finally got round to buying a new XB12X.A mate and I headed off on Sunday night for the 700 km drive to Sydney. We dodged kangaroos and wombats for most of the trip......filled up with pizza in Canberra....kept driving till about an hour outa Sydney and slept in the back of the ute.Picked the bike up next morning and rode it home to break it in.....

After riding 730 kilometers home I cant believe how comfy this thing is...:) ...Normally I'd have a sore ass and hips but this bike fits me like a glove. The suspension is excellent and the big suprise was how stable it felt going through poorly surfaced corners.
This bike was made for OZ conditions.......can't wait to take it up the mountain...:D
stevo 31st October 2006, 06:42 methinks you'll be a lot faster on that than a lot of late model jap jockeys will realise...
untill it's too late ;)
Mind you I was still faster in the tight twisties on my sporty than most big jap bike riders...
But I'm quicker on the gixxer :D:D:D

wadel 1st November 2006, 17:21 Congrats! I love those bikes and want one! I'd have to swap the new stock low seat for one of the original tall ones. I can flat foot the Uly with the high, extra comfy seat. :wonderlan
