I already rode it 26 miles into work today -- braving the dangerous SoCal freeways to get here. Then I was on a conference call and the CFO of our organization walked by and said "nice looking bike".

Nice...
Ya I was out in Cypress a few weeks back, off of Katela Bvd. Now back home in beautiful sunny CT, can you hear the smart ass in me???

It was like 70 when I was out there and it rained once in two weeks, and everyone riding was all covered up in jackets and pants. With that temp out here I'm in a t-shirt.

Anyways its been raining for 2 days now, and its supposed to rain next week too. Oh and most days lately have been struggling to get into the 50's.
I've got my 1st snowboarding trip planned for Nov 19th, I'll be happier then.

Oh and PS...
My commute is about 50 miles, one way, everyday, all interstate.
At least you guys can lane split.

I haven't quite graduated to lane splitting yet. I was tempted on my ride home last night but instead I usually get off the freeway and take surface streets when the highway fills. I'd rather be moving.

Ahhh... yes the long way home. Normally the ride home is between 45mins to 3-4 hrs... Depending on the detour of course... Just can't seem to get home during the nicer afternoons.

You'll be moving if you split lanes!

Until someone opens a door on you or tries to wedge his cage in between 2 cars that a fly can't find room to land in:frownthre

Glad ya like it. They are pretty cool with the EFI. Kinda neat with the fuel pump. Rode mine 04 1200R to the mountains on the the Blue Ridge parkway the other day. Had such a good time came home and then rode to South Carolina for a couple of days. Myrtle Beach to be exact. Gotta get back to work, all this ridin is wearing me out. Enjoy your new ride, be careful and very alert. Cagers don't care!
