Here is a link to a comprehensive study that tested a ton of exhausts for the XB's. It has dyno runs, plots, audio files, spreadsheets, and a write-up. Here is a link to it, it's a huge zip file but may be worth the long read.

I didn't read it. I just glanced over it. I don't have an XB so it doesn't affect me. However, you are in luck. It comes with a summary and it is only 96 pages! Enjoy. :)

It's a very good document, and it's worth the entire download if you're looking for a new exhuast for your XB - they cover nines and twelves. The test the stock mufler, Jardine, D&D, Drummer, Drummer SS, Special O.P.S., Micron, and a few others.

I ordered the Jardine with a Quiet Insert. It should be here by this weekend.
I'll post feedback ASAP!

After reading that last year I bought the Special Ops and could not have been happier. I was able to get the Special Ops with the jethot coating for less then the Drummer (Also a great pipe IMHO) and the old XB12R made great power across the board and sounded amazing. A couple of the people OI used to ride with had the drummers but I always though the Spec Ops sounded just plain mean in comparison.
Here is a shot of the pipe on the bike
