ello ello. i've been lurking this forum for awhile now, but now i have a reason to really join in.
picked up a 2007 XL1200R yesterday afternoon.
it's my 2nd bike, i traded an '03 Shadow ACE 750 for it.
i was bored with the performace and seating position of the ACE, so i started looking for a change.
about a month ago i took a test ride on an '06 bonnie t-100 and loved it. would've bought it, but the dealer wouldn't do a trade.
for some reason, i hadn't really been thinking about harleys for a few years, & i've never ridden on one. on a whim, i checked the HD website and really liked the looks of the roadster's blacked out engine, tach and power.
i went into the dealer & sat on it and the rest is history.
i plan on participating on and reading this forum religiously from now on. you folks seem to really be rabid sporter fans and know a shitload about them, so it would be hard to not learn anything here.
