I really like the look of the black RB pro-stock 2-1, but I want to make sure that whatever pipes I get don't decrease the performance.

Thoughts?

From what I have noticed with my 2into1 thunderheader is that I have lost some down low but gained more than I lost on top. The dyno confirmed this. I was looking at the black RB but got the black thunderheader, cause I saw more dyno information on the TH.

Mike do yourself a big favor and search the forum for postings about RB. They don't have a great customer service rep and sometimes the pipes didn't fit the first go around. Plus it takes a long time to get one.

If your willing to put up with that then my understanding is that the pipe does work. But do your homework on them and be prepared for some bull???t if you order.

I would look into the Supertrapp. Good quality and great power across the RPM band.

I WAS going to buy an RB for my new 1200 (based largely on the appearance and their reputation for speed), but their rude comments to me when I asked for more info, such as dyno results, convinced me they are NOT in business to sell anything, except grief.

Gotcha. Thanks for the input. Such a shame too, I really like the look of those pipes. Maybe I'll get lucky and find a good set on ebay.

I have heard that the D&D brand is a great pipe for our Sportys. Their claim on the web site states that 25% Hp increase and 15% Tq increase installed on a 1200.
