Im looking at a Buell Blast 03 and a offer I cant pass up. Im not a huge of it's stock look but I see sooo0 much potential that I can't pass it up.

Anyways, Im very new to bikes and I was wondering what aftermarket websites there are for the Blast. Also, I like how the firebolt looks where the head light is.... are the parts interchangeable between the two?

from my experience, mods are hard to come by for the blast. My gf and I did manage to put a tach on one though, she got an aluminum housing off ebay and a 2" tach from westach. V&H has pipes for it also.

Matt,

I've got a Blast motor sitting in my garage, waiting for a C&J flat track frame for singles roadracing. Wanted to stick it in my XR750 frame, but it just won't fit. Darn$$$! Here's what I know about Blast conversions:

Most of the serious changes to Blasts are being done by a few racers on the West Coast. They are putting Blast motors in Buell tube frame twin frames and using the stock twin body work or race plastic. There's at least one guy who has put a Blast motor in the late model aluminum Buell twin frame. Very cool! The tube frame requires lots of expensive machine work. They say the aluminum frame is easier, but I can't confirm it. I don't think either is really feasible for the street. Wiring the thing would be a big pain and it would probably be a nightmare to get it titled for the street anyway.

Do a Google search on: Buell Blast Racing

That will give you some websites that have lots of photos of dirt track/roadrace Blasts. If you have enough time and money anything is possible!

Good Luck!
