The grammar is reversed and its mostly phonetics also there is masculine and feminine for everything, the verbs are also different...your French isn't that good either:)

je vis au etats unis depuis 7 ans, mais je parlais avant d'arriver, mon anglais est juste meilleurs maintenant par contre je pers un peu mon francais.

J’ai vécu la même chose il y a des années, mes parents sont d’Anvers, on parlait donc le flamand, après qq années ma mère me parlais en Néerlandais et je répondais en Anglais

Edit: j'ai oublié de préciser que j'ai vécu en Californie durant 16ans...

En ce qui me concerne, 14 années de cours d'anglais du collége à l'université.
Ensuite, j'ai eu la chance, mon pére travaillant à Air France (tout comme moi depuis 10 ans), j'ai pu voyager pour parfaire mon anglais.
Séjours en immersion totale d'un mois en Angleterre et en Irlande.
Plusieurs voyages aux Etats unis, Canada, UK et Ireland de nouveau, en famille.

De plus, chaque fois que je vois mes potes de Breda ou des Wrecking Crew (UK ou germany), one parle que l'anglais....

I've been learning english for 14 years from college to university.
I was lucky to have a father working for an aircraft company (as i do myself for 10 years now) ; so I travelled many time to train my english.
I've stayed several times in UK and Ireland, for a month without speaking a word in french.
I also travelled to USA, Canada, UK and Ireland with my family.

Each time i meet by friends from Breda (NL) and Wrecking Crew (UK and germany) we only speak english..
