i have a 03 xb9s and want to do a fender eliminator to get rid of the "cheese grater". i have seen companies that cut the stock ones to make a fender eliminator and then ask for your stock one as a core. So what i am wondering is has anyone cut it themselves and still made it look good? If not then where can i get a good one that doesn't cost a ton? thanks

mike, I haven't done this myself, nor have i even seen one in person, but Odie from Special O.P.S. does it by hand. If you're handy with a hack saw, a file and a spraypaint can, I don't see why you coudln't do it yourself.
