Tell your friends. pudgie 1st December 2006, 23:24 I just ordered a superbrace. Thanks for posting the group buy has started. Cookiey_Man 5th December 2006, 04:24 I would join in on this buy, but I purchased my SuperBrace in Mid October. I may have missed out on the 25% discount, but I have a 100% fine product. :clap Thanks SuperBrace!!:clap Cookiey :tour hybriDatsun350 5th December 2006, 05:20 I just ordered mine! Sweet deal, and thanks to Superbrace and everyone who helped organize the group buy! :) Likestoeatpaste 5th December 2006, 05:35 I just ordered mine. Step up to the plate--25% off. Great deal. Tell your friends. They are offering 25% off all Harley products for the whole month of December... so is this really a discount or not? :dunno Big_Baazzoo 5th December 2006, 05:58 Ummm, what do we do? where do we go? spatial.hd 5th December 2006, 06:09 Ummm, what do we do? where do we go? Go here: http://www.superbrace.com/ I just bought mine! There's a comment box on the bottom of the order form where I wrote that I heard about Superbrace here on the world's best Sportster forum! bplinson 5th December 2006, 06:47 The Group Buy page is here: http://superbrace.com/groupbuy Make sure you order through this page or you will not get the 25% off. bplinson 5th December 2006, 06:49 They are offering 25% off all Harley products for the whole month of December... so is this really a discount or not? :dunno Huh??? I guess so since the normal price is 25% higher. Sounds like a discount to me. supercharger 5th December 2006, 14:28 JMHO, but a superbrace is a total waste of money on a Harley. If your bike has a high speed wobble, the brace will do nothing to correct it. Spend that money on a steering damper. I'd like to see a group buy on something useful like tires or brakes. br_xl 5th December 2006, 14:45 Any feedback from people who have one already? Are they worth over $100? Why doesn't HD put cheap piece of aluminum on if there is such a benefit? bjfoien 5th December 2006, 15:08 Just ordered. hybriDatsun350 5th December 2006, 15:36 If you ride your bike like it should be ridden than you will feel a difference. Otherwise, don't waste your time...:frownthre bplinson 5th December 2006, 16:02 I'd like to see a group buy on something useful like tires or brakes. Great idea!! Why don't you set one up. Terp84Alum 5th December 2006, 16:46 I'd like a discount on the RB 2-1 pipes :sofa cgubera 5th December 2006, 17:41 I'll install it this weekend and go for a ride where I was having the flex and give a ride report either way. The flex may be somewhere else too. also I opened the package and it says 30 day money back guarantee so if you don't like it send it back no questions asked. Can't beat that. Except for some who can't ride in the next 30 days won't know if they like it or not if they want to get in on the group buy. Looks beefier than I expected it to look Carl-04XL 5th December 2006, 18:47 I got mine in last years group buy. The difference wasn't night/day, but there was a difference. Combined with the Progressive fork springs and heavier fork oil, the improvement got better. And now that I have the ME 880s on, my Sporty could be on "Dancing With The Stars". Back to the SuperBrace, installation was easy. Fit was exact and finish (polished aluminum) looks great. I rode with it for a while before doing springs/oil upgrade and noticed a loss of some wallowing in bumpy turns. I would say that I got more than my $$$ worth. Oh, btw, my price last year was only a little higher than this years deal. Go for it! br_xl 5th December 2006, 21:53 [QUOTE=hybriDatsun350]If you ride your bike like it should be ridden than you will feel a difference. Otherwise, don't waste your time...:frownthre[/QUOTE Even with conservative riding, will there be a benefit to tire wear or anything? Don't get me wrong, I'll push it occasionally. paralegalpete 6th December 2006, 00:38 ordered mine yesterday, I'll let you know in the spring Brrrrrrrrrrrr 650brad 6th December 2006, 01:51 Ordered mine yesterday. Not just members of this group. br_xl 6th December 2006, 16:18 I have seen the same thing on other sites for about the same price as the discounted price. bjfoien 9th December 2006, 23:18 Mine showed up yesterday - those guy's are fast. Terp84Alum 9th December 2006, 23:54 I have seen the same thing on other sites for about the same price as the discounted price. Doubtful. Mine showed up on Thursday :banana hybriDatsun350 10th December 2006, 19:12 Just got mine, but it started raining as soon as I got it so I haven't tried it out. Althought I haven't ridden with it mounted I can definitely say that it is an extremely high quality piece and I am impressed! :) sb2005 14th December 2006, 20:58 We had a short delay in production for the 39mm #5183 SuperBraces. If you ordered a polished 39mm SuperBrace within the last week, it was billed and shipped yesterday and the hard black anodized braces will be billed and shipped next week. Happy Holidays and thanks for your support as we try to get every one orders out in time for Christmas. I can assure you everything is completely working now. Happy Holidays, SuperBrace - the Ultimate Fork Stabilizer www.superbrace.com 650brad 20th December 2006, 23:22 Mine came today. A very nice looking peice, indeed. Now I just have to wait until it gets nice enough out to get my bike out of storage and put it on. I can't wait.:D AZFlyingDiver 20th December 2006, 23:53 Actually just ordered mine today - 25% off still in effect!... :tour rokclmb 21st December 2006, 01:34 On the group buy page there are a bunch of different models of sportster listed, but no 1200S. Would the same brace that fits the 1200R fit the 1200S? I wouldn't think there would be a difference between the two front ends as far as the brace would be concernded. Is there? I might be interested in the 5183B. hybriDatsun350 22nd December 2006, 17:53 You just need the part number for the 39mm forks. It's the same part number for all of the 39mm bikes. I don't understand their system, but mine fits and I think the one I ordered said 1200r. Terp84Alum 22nd December 2006, 18:39 5183B is the black one and will work for your bike. Enjoy! AZFlyingDiver 22nd December 2006, 21:01 Actually just ordered mine today - 25% off still in effect!... :tour Got it just now (ONE day later) - that was FAST!!! :clap :clap :clap Snuffy 27th December 2006, 13:20 ordered mine yesterday and waiting for superbrace arrival, just one more goodie and loving it gbinman 11th January 2007, 21:36 I got a Superbrace through the group buy. It arrived today and was installed shortly thereafter. Even though the weather was on the cold side and threatening rain, I had to give it a road test. Simply put, I am very pleased. I am not sure how much is group confidence vs actual mechanical improvement; but, I ran through a number of my favorite roads with the nice twisties and it really felt solid. I added an easy 5 MPH and felt better doing it. The wind was at 25 MPH with gusts to 32 so I was being a little conservative to leave room for a shove from a gust. For total of $121.20, I am very pleased. I wish the bolts were SAE Allens rather than metric... I had to find something to bitch about. Gary humgums 2nd July 2007, 02:46 Any chance of another super brace group buy? br_xl 3rd July 2007, 14:09 Keeping my eyes open as well. Notabiker 6th July 2007, 14:10 Well I have some good news and some bad news. Bad news is at this time Superbrace can not do a group buy. They only have one a year and the last finished right before the end of 2006. They would like to do one but it would cause problems for them among their distributors who they would be undercutting. As you can understand this would be bad for business. Good news if that they will probably have another group buy in the fall or winter. Bert posted this on 5/25/07. So later in the year (just in time for a nice Christmas wish list) maybe we can get it together. |
