The other day I started the bike as I normally do and let it warm up as I put on my gear. I noticed it sounded differnt than it normally does. When I got on the engine light was on so I killed it and went through the startup again. This time it would not fire. :dammit So I pushed it back in the garage started checking things out. Pulled the plugs and they were soaked with gas. I left them out over night and purchased a set of NGK's the next day and installed them. This time it fired right up. Took it to the dealer and had them pull the codes. They said it was the back O2 sensor malfunction. They cleared the codes and it has not had a problem since. I don't know why this would happen. I guess I will not worry about it. :dunno Has anyone else had any little glitches?

None yet. But I've only had mine a week.

Hope your little glitch was a one-time deal.

No issues yet but only 11 days and 460 mi into the adventure so far. Sorry to hear about your experience, hope it is a once only fluke. Did dealer replace the defective O2 sensor?

No they just pulled the codes, told me what it was and sent me on my way. They had no explanation. It has run flawlessly since then. :dunno

You may want to consider changing the oil. If it was running that rich, the oil got loaded up pretty good with gasoline.

No problems with mine...I am very interested knowing why your O2 sensor failed to work?
To help the rest of us, give us a run-down of the status...could the battery have been low (ignition left on), lose plug wire, etc... Did you wait until the EFI light had gone off before starting? Did the light stay off after the second time you started?

As a note, the 07s have a tendancy to "stumble" between start-up and normal running temp. Mine will often "hestitate" or "Stumble" after about a minute.

Glad to hear the bike is working OK now.

A good long ride will burn off the gas...yeah, I know that gas is not a good lubricant, but it sounds as if your situation was not a "long running rich" problem. The bike choked--the plugs fouled and your got it started again. A person would really have to dump in some gas to hurt the engine.

No major problems with mine. Have done 500km. It normally stumbles once or twice at idle until it gets warm (about 2 minutes does it).

In the second week, it was missing when hot, idling at traffic lights etc. Followed by somewhat rough running at all speeds after that. I traced it to a loose spark plug wire on the front cylinder. It was almost completely off. :doh
Snapped it back on with a satisfying 'click' and now it runs like a dream. :banana

I've had mine a month and a half, got just under 1800 miles and haven't had an issue yet, but I'll be paying closer attention to it now. I did notice it running a little rougher after the 1k service though.
