And I don't mean just that certain unnammed bolt on fork extender kit. Makes the bike look like a bad photoshop attempt IMHO. I mean take a new one, strip her down, slam it, rake it, black it out, springer perhaps? This I would love to see!

Dug ships the break fluid, Fork oil, and fork seals with his kit. Only thing you might have to out to buy is that 12mm allen. Finding a 12mm that can put up with a 150 ft-lb toque can be a pain in the a$$.

That's a good catch! I only picked up on the oil tank. I'm glad you pointed that out. I've been wondering how the anniversary emblem would look on a custom paint job.

Just found this on the MoCo website. This guy won a Sportster Division down at the Daytona ride-in with a 2005 XL1200C Chopper - is this more what you're looking for? Seems to have quite a bit of frame modification.

And now we know Gazza.. I think it looks pretty damn good. And this is from someone who cringes at the sight of any 100th anniv bike.
Not to offend any one who bought one, but I feel HD ruined the deal by making EVERY bike damn near identicle.
When I see an '03 Sporty with the badge and stripe the tank screams at me "LOOK AT ME! I'm A stock lookin' '03 Sporty and there are only 315,000 other bikes just like me!"
And Harley has the balls to say it won't let you buy a replacement a replacement tank or fender unless you " TURN IN THE OLD ONE "
I have a buddy with a '03 1200C whos goin' for the chopper look a little piece at a time.He always asks whern he adds a piece, "Whadda ya think Jim?"
My lips say "Looks Great!", but my mind says "RIP OFF THE BADGE AND REPAINT THAT PUPPY."
I THINK THE MOCO DID IT ON PURPOSE, THINKING THEY COULD GET GUYS TO BUY NEW TIN TO CUSTOM PAINT, AND THEY WOULD SAVE THE ANNIV TIN IN THE BASEMENT, AS IF IT WERE UNIQUE AND RARE...RIIGGGHHT.
