A recent pic of my '04 1200R and newly acquired SV1000N: 2 tons'o fun V twins! Also a pic showing the latest visual enhancements: BDA engine parts from a 883 to replace the blaaa gray painted parts. Also a '05 headlight, Corbin Gunfighter plus aftermarket suspension front and rear. Still to come: Bridgestone BT45Vs will replace the dummlopp "rim protecturrz". This bike is very respectable through curves! DFO:)

Hmmm, strange thing about this forum: I was on it early on and all of a sudden couldn't get in! Had to reregister today, etcetcetc....????
My 1200R has Race Tech springs, emulators and 20 wt. oil in the forks. Works Performance gas shocks on rear; if I had to do it over I would go with Progressive 440s: much easier to adjust (WPs must be removed from bike...paaatoooeee!) and have better ride characteristics. The WPs are HARD despite "softening" the settings. The bike does handle amazingly well. While the stock SV can easily outperform the 1200R I still prefer the Sporty overall....altho it is close! Both bikes have character and are definately FunToRide, So my big ST 1300 just kinda sits. :tour DFO
